കുറച്ചുവര്ഷങ്ങള്ക്ക് മുമ്പാണ് മലയാളി ചെറുപ്പക്കാരുടെ മനസില് നഴ്സിംഗ് സ്വപ്നങ്ങള് പൂത്തുവിടര്ന്നത്. എന്നാല് നഴ്സുമാര് അനുഭവിക്കുന്ന പീഡനങ്ങള് ഇന്നൊരു വാര്ത്തയേ അല്ലാതായി മാറിയിരിക്കുന്നു. അതുതന്നെയാണ് ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന് പ്രസക്തി വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. ബാംഗ്ളൂരിലെ ആശുപത്രിയില് നഴ്സായി ജോലിക്ക് വരുന്ന കോട്ടയം സ്വദേശിനിയായ 22 വയസുള്ള യുവതിയാണ് ടെസ കെ എബ്രഹാം(റിമാ കല്ലിങ്കല്). ഏതൊരാളെയും പോലെ വിദേശത്ത് പോയി നഴ്സായി ജീവിതം കരുപിടിപ്പിക്കണമെന്നാണ് ടെസയുടെ ആഗ്രഹം. കാനഡയില് പോകാനാണ് ടെസക്ക് ഏറെ ഇഷ്ടം. അതിനായി ബാംഗ്ളൂരില് തന്നെയുള്ള ഒരു വിസാ ഏജന്സിയെ ടെസ സമീപിക്കുന്നു. അവിടെ വച്ച് സിറില് മാത്യൂ(ഫഹദ് ഫാസില്) എന്ന യുവാവിനെ പരിചയപ്പെടുന്നു. ആ ബന്ധം ക്രമേണ പ്രണയമായി വളരുന്നു. പിന്നീട് അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായ സംഭവങ്ങളാണ് ടെസയുടെ ജീവതത്തില് സംഭവിക്കുന്നത്. സ്നേഹം കൊതിച്ചിരുന്ന ടെസയുടെ മനസ് തീക്കനല് പോലെയായി.പിന്നീട് അവള് ജീവിതത്തില് നേരിട്ട പ്രതിസന്ധികളും ദുര്ഘടങ്ങളും ആണ് ഇതിലെ കഥ .

Seniors is a 2011 Malayalam comedy mystery film directed by Vyshakh, produced by Vaishakh Rajan, and written by Sachi-Sethu. The story is about four friends who return to their alma mater as students. It stars Jayaram, Kunchacko Boban, Biju Menon, and Manoj K. Jayan in the main roles. The film features an original score by Gopi Sundar and songs by Alphons Joseph, Jassie Gift and Alex Paul. The film released on 7 May 2011 and was placed first in its opening weekend. It is also currently the third highest grossing film of 2011.

The film follows the love stories of two couples. The main characters are: Kalidasan (Lal), an archaeologist; Maya (Shwetha Menon), a dubbing artiste; Meenakshi (Mythili), an IELTS student; Manu (Asif Ali), a happy-go-lucky management graduate; and Babu, Kalidasan's chef. Food plays an important role in the story and the tagline of the film is Oru Dosa Undakkiya Katha ("The story born out of a Dosa").[2]
The film has an original score by Bijibal, with three songs composed by Bijibal and the song "Aanakkallan" which was written and sung by Malayalam rock band Avial. The film was produced by Lucsam Cinema and released by Lal. Principal production for the film started on 3 January 2011 and it was released in theatres on 8 July 2011 to positive reviews and good initial viewing figures.[3]
Salt N' Pepper's Tamil, Telugu and HindiSalt aur Pepper remake rights have been bought by actor-director Prakash Raj.
